The words and expressions used in this Policy but not defined herein will have the meaning assigned to them under the IT Act.


We may collect information from you through your use of our website, when you request information from us or engage our services or transact/trade with us.

This Privacy Policy only covers the Affordmed website and does not extend to any other website, even if links to such third party websites may have been provided on any part of this website. We would like to draw your notice to the fact that if you click on any link provided in any content hosted on our website, you may be leaving the website and visiting another website to which this Privacy Policy does not apply. Information collected on the Affordmed Website

We collect contact information such as email address, contact phone number, etc. via the contact us form where you voluntarily provide such information to us. We also collect information such as contact details, education, previous employment history, skill proficiency, and the like when you submit a job application for employment opportunities at Affordmed. In some circumstances, we collect personal data about you from a third party source, including, personal data from your organisation, other organisations with whom you have dealings, inter alia, government agencies, credit reporting agencies, information or service providers or from publicly available records. Any data collected offline or via e-mail communications between You and Us shall be beyond the scope of this privacy policy.   • we may also use aggregated personal data and statistics for the purpose of monitoring website usage in order to help us develop our Website and our services.

Personal Information may be kept on our personal data technology systems, those of our contractors or in paper files or in physical form.

Affordmed may enter into an agreement with third parties (in or outside of India) to store, collect, process your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information under full compliance with applicable laws.

Security

Affordmed uses encryption, for the transmission of visitor registration and transaction requests and information. Affordmed uses reasonable security measures, at the minimum those mandated under the IT Act and read with Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules 2011, to safeguard and protect your Personal Information and Sensitive Personal Information. When the information provided by a visitor is not transmitted through these encryption procedures, the visitor's computer system (if configured accordingly) will display an appropriate message. While the website may still be served via http, we suggest all visitors to access the website via https instead.


However, the internet is an open system and Affordmed makes no assurance that the personal information which may be provided by a visitor will not be intercepted or accessed by others and decrypted. We shall not be liable or responsible should any confidential or other information provided by or pertaining to the visitor (including names, IDs, place of work, etc.) be intercepted and subsequently used by an unintended recipient, despite the security systems implemented.
